Our Mission Statement
The mission of the Club is to pursue and promote the social,
cultural, and recreational welfare of eligible retirees. The goal of the
club is to establish and foster friendly relations, loyalties, traditions, and identification with FedEx globally.
What is the Federal Express Retiree Club?
The Federal Express Retiree Club is an organization sanctioned by Federal Express Corporation for the benefit of its retired
employees. The Club provides a means by which its members can receive current information about corporate activities, maintain the
pride of identification with FedEx, and maintain a link with the corporation on issues that might affect its members.
The FedEx Retiree Club is a non-profit, tax exempt organization under section 501(c)4 of the Internal Revenue Code. However, donors
to FERC may not deduct dues or contributions from individual returns.

Who is Eligible?
- Retired Member: Retirees of FedEx and its subsidiaries are eligible to participate.
- Associate Member: Spouse, or surviving spouse of a deceased retiree may participate as an Associate Member.
Associate Members can serve on committees but will have no voting rights and cannot serve as an officer or be a committee chair.
- Member-at-Large: Individuals who are vested in a pension plan at FedEx but have not retired from FedEx are eligible to participate.
- All eligible members have the opportunity to participate in the leadership of the club and to help determine its future direction.
How Much Does it Cost?
- First-time applicants who are retired from FedEx will receive an invoice that has three months of dues deducted as an incentive to become a member.
- Annual dues for Memphis area members are $36 per year. Memphis area is defined as zip codes beginning with 380, 381,386, or 723.
- Satellite Member dues are $18 per year. Satellite area is defined as any zip code that is not included in Memphis area (as defined above). Their dues are less because they are less likely to participate in local Memphis activities.
- Member-At-Large annual dues are the same as other members, $36 or $18, as appropriate.
- The membership fiscal year runs from June 1 to May 31. The dues for members who join after June 1 are prorated according to the number of months remaining in the fiscal year.
- Dues are billed annually in May.
- Where a Retired Member has a spouse who also is retired from FedEx, the spouse is automatically a member at no additional charge for dues.
Contact membership@ferc1.org if you are a Retired Member whose spouse is also retired from FedEx so that we can add them to the membership roster.
What are the Advantages of Membership?
- Maintaining contact with other former employees.
- Monthly meetings with expert speakers on topics of interest to the membership.
- Monthly Luncheons and various social activities.
- Internet access to current FedEx benefits.
- Providing a Platform for communications with the corporation on matters affecting the membership
Why Does FedEx Support the Concept of a Retiree Club?
FedEx management believes the People-Service-Profit philosophy that made the
corporation an unprecedented success should carry beyond a person's employment years.
Participation in the Federal Express Retiree Club will provide you with an opportunity for this same type of
personal accomplishment.
